We stopped to pick up sandwiches to go on our way to Fort De Soto State Park. The place was a little hard to find, but worth the effort! We were tempted by the delicious baked goods in the case as well.

Recently I had lunch at Phila Deli. As I try new places some are winners, some are losers and some simply fall in between. In the case of Phila Deli is a spot that was not a true winner, not a true loser but somewhere in the middle. I was a bit surprised that most of the sandwich options did not come with any side items such as chips, fries, slaw etc. Secondly, I found attention to basic detail lacking meaning that I had to ask for silverware, ask for ketchup for my French fries etc. The food was ok but nothing outstanding. The Phily Cheese steak was more of a finely chopped selection of meat, onions and peppers with cheese stirred in. The handcut French fries were warm and soggy vs. hot and crispy. For a 6 inch sub, fries and drink it was $20 including tip.

New owner is just amazing ! Excellent food and service. I highly recommend the smoked salmon panini. Pastries are also delicious !

Great food and service ! I was walking around and their cook was sitting outside and I asked if there was anywhere for coffee. And he said in here of course. To my surprise it was great coffee and great food and the cook had a great personality! You don't even know what's there. You could pass by it quickly. If they're friendly great cook had not directed me in.. I would've missed this wonderful restaurant

The place is under new ownership and better than ever... still has the best cheese steak around... but not just that!... we have all day breakfast..home made sausage, pancakes...and amazing french toast.. a place you gotta try...

Hidden gem! Stopped on the way to the de Soto Park to grab a sandwich. The philly steak was outstanding. We also grabbed a tuna salad sandwich, a slice of quiche and a chocolate twist for good measure and all were outstanding. Highly recommended. There was also a fair amount of delicious looking desserts that we did not get to try Friendly staff and clean premises was also nice!

Totally delicious, friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. Sorry about the photos because we ate it all so fast but they definitely know Philly cheese steaks. I had the Philly Dilla which is a quesadilla with rib eye, cheese and an awesome seasoning and comes with sour cream, salsa and lettuce and tomato. I also had the steakhouse onion rings and they were also delicious and crispy. My wife got a half cheese steak and she loved it too. Definitely worth checking out 😀

I've been told to come here for months to try the Philly Cheesesteak. I ordered a "Full Monty" and asked if I could do half not spicy. The waiter/owner said "No I cannot do that." LOL "I can put spicy on the side." I thought, oh no this is not going to be good. Well, it was a lights out amazing sandwich, like everyone had been saying. Turns out the new owner is from France, its basically a French Bakery that happens to make outrageous Philly Cheesesteaks, but also incredible deserts, Italian Subs, Salads... Place is amazing! Hope he keeps it, will be back for more!!!
